Wake On Lan is a procedure that we can use to power on a PC using the TCP/IP network.

The goal is to send the magic packet that is a broadcast frame containing anywhere within its payload 6 bytes of all 255 (FF FF FF FF FF FF in hexadecimal), followed by sixteen repetitions of the target computer’s 48-bit MAC address, for a total of 102 bytes.

We can easily do this operation using the DATAGRAM protocol from inside EVE.

Step 1

Get the mac address of the PC that you want to power on.

For this purpose you can find the correct help on google because it depends n the device and operating system that you have installed.

We can use in our example this MAC:  a4:5e:60:eb:bd:c5
