The cross functioning of these two components allows the user to set timers in a very flexible way. A typical case is the need to enable/disable a scenario every day of summer (or winter) offering the user the ability to define both times that the periods of activation of the scenario.

It is possible to add more than a Week Timer where each Week Timer can represent a specific period of the year (calendar). Week Timer Calendar, instead, is used to manage several Week Timer events. Week Timer Calendar is the component that allows to select the specific Week Timer and define the days that need to be considered directly by the end user on the interface.

Week Timers and Week Timer Calendars are very sophisticated components for this, once you read the explanation, we suggest that you go into the examples you find alongside their title to find out their many uses within a project.

These examples were divided by order of difficulty:

Week Timer is a very useful plugin that allows the end user to set timer events in relation to a specific type of week directly from EVE Remote interface relatively to all the switches of the project. It is possible to make use of one or more Week Timer. In fact, each Week Timer represents a specific type of week: for example you can consider just a type of week or define a new one for your week holiday. This is just an example but the use cases are countless.

Remember. In order to allow the user to manage the timer events function you need to add Week Timer (one or more) and Week Timer Calendar on EVE Manager components. You DO NOT have to add Week Timer component on the user interface, in fact this is an extra setting area relative to all the switches of the project.
