Today those who have chosen to rely on the EVE home automation system for the management and supervision of houses and offices have a reason to be joyful because there is important news! In fact it is official the news about the ability to manage most of the audio / video systems currently on the market such as Smart TV, Hi-Fi, Home Theater of the industry brands such as Samsung, Bose, Sonos, Panasonic, Yamaha, Sony, Onkyo and many others.

With the new integration of UPnP standard protocol (Universal Plug and Play) already used for many years in most of the products for the consumer (4 billion of products, estimated by the official DLNA portal), the EVE home automation system is now able to control them all from a single app. Not only that, there is another very interesting aspect that is the possibility of expanding the multimedia experience with other functions of the home automation system.

We do some concrete examples: we wake up in the morning and only after turning on the light or raising a shutter we begin to hear in the background our favorite music. Or, the intensity of the lights of our cinema is automatically faded as soon as the film is scheduled to begin. The film is temporarily interrupted, the lights come back on and / or we receive a notification if someone rings at our door. As long as our smart home solution enables systems installed to “talk” to each other, the installer can “teach” them to act independently according to our preferences.

In addition to the control of basic functions ( “Play” of any multimedia content taken from any source, internet or physical source, and reproduced on a target device (speaker), the “Stop“, the “Pause” and the regulation of the volume) it is possible to determine the playback of multimedia content on the basis of interaction with switches, the activation of timers or presence and motion sensors. Why not think, for example, to simulate your presence in the house playing music (or noise) if it is violated access in your absence?

This is a novelty that will affect a lot of current users of the EVE home automation system, but those who have a different one, Vimar By-Me or BTicino MyHome for example, may they be as happy as us because all of this is already available also for them.

The world of work is changing rapidly, along with the actual concept of work: new methods call for different workspaces. L’edificio si sviluppa in sei piani fuori terra, di cui tre sono aperti alla città: il piano terra ospita lo showroom, dedicato al grande pubblico aperto sette giorni su sette per tutti coloro che vogliano sperimentare le tecnologie. Al primo piano si trova il Microsoft Technology Center, un centro per aziende, startup, professionisti. Al quinto piano si trova The Loft, un ambiente più riservato pensato per ospitare eventi di rilievo e importanti momenti di business. L’innovazione è l’elemento che collega tutti gli ambienti: dalla reception virtuale a sistemi avanzati di video conferenze, dalla domotica a sensori IoT fino a nuovi strumenti di collaborazione.

E dove c’è innovazione è presente anche ilevia. L’azienda di Bassano del Grappa dall’orgoglio tutto italiano, operativa già da diversi anni nel campo della Home & Building Automation a livello internazionale, è stata scelta per sviluppare un progetto altamente innovativo affinchè potesse essere esposto in pianta stabile nel tempio dell’innovazione per eccellenza. Infatti, ilevia non è solo attenta allo sviluppo di una moderna tecnologia utilizzabile in ambiente domestico, ma bensì ad una soluzione duttile, potente ed applicabile anche in ambito lavorativo per consentire l’ottimizzazione dei processi ed il miglioramento del confort su tutti i livelli.

Nasce allora un nuovo mercato, quello dello Smart Working, ed ilevia ne propone un assaggio presso il nuovo centro tecnologico Microsoft grazie alla collaborazione di altre due importanti aziende: Tecno S.p.A., dal 1953 crea architetture interne, progetta e produce mobili innovativi concentrandosi sulla qualità del design e dei materiali e Rancilio Group S.p.A., società italiana, oggi multinazionale, con una lunga tradizione nella produzione di macchine da caffè professionali. L’esperienza disponibile all’interno della Microsoft House a Milano è studiata per dimostrare come qualsiasi oggetto intorno a noi può diventare intelligente, capace di riconoscere gli utilizzatori, le loro abitudini, adattarsi alle esigenze degli utenti, suggerire soluzioni o elaborare nuovi servizi.

Parte 1: nel CRM aziendale è presente un elenco di clienti Gold che da qualche tempo non vengono invitati in Microsoft. L’utente decide di selezionare un cliente VIP e da CRM apre direttamente la finestra di Outlook Calendar dove crea un nuovo appuntamento e invita sia il cliente sia la sala meeting situata nella Microsoft House.

Essendo un cliente VIP l’utente di Outlook puo’ decidere quali caratteristiche della sala riunioni impostare per il meeting: ad esempio specificando il livello di privacy desiderato (con il flag “private” di Outlook al fine di preparare l’ambiente con vetrate delle porte interne opacizzate) e il livello di luce desiderata (con il flag “importance” di Outlook che puo’ essere alta, normale o bassa). Inoltre sarà possibile gestire la temperatura tramite un Surface Pro posto sul tavolo in sala riunioni.

Parte 2: quando l’utente entra nella sala e viene riconosciuto come il responsabile del meeting l’ambiente inizia ad interagire predisponendosi all’inizio dell’evento: le vetrate si opacizzano garantendo la privacy richiesta e il Surface Pro sul tavolo propone i comandi del caso con scenari preimpostati. È presente un ulteriore livello di autenticazione sul piano individuale per garantire la sicurezza nell’utilizzo dei servizi. Ogni postazione attorno al tavolo della sala incontri autenticherà l’utente con l’utilizzo del proprio badge personale. Se autorizzato, l’utente può prendere possesso della sua postazione con i relativi permessi a lui concessi.

Parte 3: pausa caffè: la macchina da caffè Rancilio con integrata Cortana, la personal assistant virtuale di Microsoft è in grado di riconoscere i volti dei soliti utenti e chiede se deve servire il caffè preferito da ogni utente a conferma segue l’erogazione. Se invece l’utente è nuovo o sconosciuto chiede il tipo di caffè desiderato e poi lo eroga.
